Marzipan is an amazing delicacy, about which almost no one knows anything, few people have tried it, but everyone has heard about it.

Legends say that the product of crushed almonds and sugar syrup was invented as a medicine for mental anguish because of its positive effects on the nervous system.

You can help your soul and quench interest in an exquisite dessert in the amazing Kaliningrad marzipan museums.

One exposition is open at the Brandenburg Gate and there is also a unique family museum.

Kaliningrad: City of Amber

In the village of Yantarny (formerly Palmniken) opened "Kaliningrad amber plant", which conducts industrial extraction of amber stone.

The village is the world's largest deposit of amber (more than 90% of the world's mineraloid reserves are concentrated here).

It is believed that the reason for the opening of the museum exposition was the proximity to the village of Yantarny.

In 1969, the building of the Amber Museum was given to the building of the “Tower of the Don” and the Rosgarten Gate.

The museum collection contains unique exhibits - a nugget weighing 4 kg 280 g - the largest in the collection of the Amber Museum, and thousands of art products from this famous mineraloid.
