Altai legends
It is my wild desire to conquer the farthest corners of the country that haunts me.
In 2021, one of these places was Altai, the pearl of our country.
In recent years, Altai has gained an unrealistic tourist turn, in this direction you will be offered many tours for every taste and purse (hiking, rafting, ski tourism, balneological, horseback riding tours and much more).
Beautiful, multifaceted, free, so in three words I would describe this region.
When we arrived with Marina in NovosibirskFrom where our photo tour started, we went on a reconnaissance, for this we had 2 days.
Since my studies (and I studied geographically), the impression of the Novosibirsk region has developed so much. I like the unofficial name more than anything in the city.
Siberian Chicago - impressed with the beautiful Bugrin Bridge, the building of the Opera and Ballet Theater, which for some reason reminded me of the American Capitol and the ground subway, but at the same time disappointed with its attitude to pedestrians, eternal construction, in general, "neither fish nor meat."
16-17 hours on the way, barnaul. Gorno-Altaisk. By the way, Gorno-Altaisk, the only city in the Altai Republic.
Vjukh and we in the village of Aktash, accommodation, dinner, and then eight days to one of the most beautiful places in Altai:
Chui tract, Geyser Lake, panorama of the North Chui Ridge, Kuektanar Lakes, Mars (Red Mountains), mountains and gorge Aktru, Eshtykel Plateau, Dzhangyskol Lake, Katu-Yaryk Pass, Kidel Lake, Shirlak Waterfall, Behemoth Threshold.
The beauty of our route was the most beautiful time of the year in Altai (this is, of course, autumn) and the simplicity of the route, the main part of the way we traveled by bus.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the perfect roads throughout our journey.
Yes, yes, it is true, in the Altai Republic, where there is only one city, perfect roads like I have never seen in my life.
But still the main attractions we visited on foot, enjoying the beauty and peace of the local places.
In addition to natural attractions, we visited the moral economy, where in the natural habitat there are morals and bison.
On the way back to Novosibirsk, we visited the Museum of the Chuisky Track, where it is very interesting and detailed about the construction, formation and development of these places.
The final day we spent in Novosibirsk, meeting our entire camping company in a cafe, and discussing the impressions of the trip.
