Salm Broy Brewery

Austria, Vienna, Rennweg 8

About the company:

Salm Broy is the name of a brewery and restaurant in downtown Vienna. Until 1717, there were several vineyards belonging to the mayor. Later they were bought by the royal court and Empress Wilhelmina Amalia gave it to the monastery with the obligation to supply wine from its cellars to the palace. Today, the Salm Broy restaurant is one of the best beer establishments in the city, where you can sit heartily and gloriously eat.

The main ones on the menu are five local beers - "March", "Bright", "Pils" according to an old recipe of 1842, Bavarian "Wheat" and "Bohemian mixed". In addition, the plant has its own distillery, so be sure to try Salm whiskey or local pear schnapps. Salm fruit and berry tinctures are considered one of the best in the world.
