The pyramids of Giza are an incredibly valuable and important architectural monument of ancient Egypt. Pyramids are included in the list of “New Seven Wonders of the World”. This historical ensemble consists of the three largest pyramids: the pyramid of Cheops, which is also the only surviving wonder of the “Seven Wonders of the World”, the pyramid of Khafre and the pyramid of Minkaura, as well as the pyramids of the queens, the pyramids of the valley and the Great Sphinx.

The three main pyramids were built by the ancient Egyptians to bury the pharaohs. The pharaohs were adorable, and they loved the pharaohs. In ancient times it was believed that along with the dead in the tombs are treasures, so in 820 the Arabs, led by the caliph Abu Jafar Fl Mamun, tried to plunder the tomb of the pyramid of Cheops. According to the official version, they did not find any treasure. However, thanks to their attempts, there is now a gap that allows tourists to enjoy the magnificent spectacle and touch the ancient history from the inside of the building.

Perhaps only the Pyramids of Giza are so well preserved that it is possible to imagine what they looked like hundreds and thousands of years ago. The Pharaohs were the ones who built the tombs for themselves and their treasures after death.
