Description:
Cairo International Airport is the busiest airport in Egypt and the second busiest airport in the continent. It is located 15 kilometers from the city center in the northeastern part.
This airport receives regular flights from more than 50 passenger and 10 cargo airlines. It has 3 terminals, the first of which opened in 1945 and is now used mainly by Middle Eastern airlines. Terminals 2 and 3 are connected by a transition and serve airlines in Europe, Africa, the Gulf and the Far East.
The airport has a multi-storey parking for three thousand cars, workshops, a large shopping area and comfortable waiting rooms. In addition, every 30 minutes there are free bus services between the two terminals located at a distance of 3 kilometers.
