We'll visit Provence and have a delicious meal!

Description:

Those who watched Ridley Scott’s film “A Good Year” or read Peter Mail’s book “A Year in Provence”, during this day you will feel like the heroes of the film and plunge into this life of Provence, where everything is slow and measured, endless vineyards, olive groves and lavender fields are bathed in the generous rays of the sun.

In our extensive gastronomic program:

  • Visit to olive oil mill with tasting
  • A trip to the farm where the best goat cheese in France is produced (on the tables of the star restaurants of Provence), acquaintance with the hosts, tasting
  • We will have lunch/dinner at authentic restaurants in the region.

The cuisine of Provence is light, bright, filled with a palette of colors and aromas of various vegetables and fruits, olive oil and fragrant herbs. Sea fish and crabs, oysters and mussels, truffles, homemade goat cheese, ratatouille vegetable stew, Nisuaz salad, light pink wines - all this gastronomic splendor must definitely be tried in Provence. The main dish of Provençal cuisine is Marseille fish soup, which is prepared from at least five species of sea fish, with the addition of crabs or small squid. You can try the bouillabes endlessly, and each time it will be different, because its recipe depends on the morning catch of local fishermen. Visit the local farmer's market, where in a noisy and cheerful atmosphere we chat with merchants and fill our basket (in Provence, shopping is exclusively with a basket).
