Dominican Monastery

4, ulica Svetog Dominika

Description:

The Dominican Monastery in Dubrovnik is one of the main attractions of Croatia. It was built during the 14-16 centuries at the expense of donations of citizens. In 1667, there was a large earthquake, which damaged many buildings in Dubrovnik, but the monastery was miraculously almost not damaged. The uniqueness of the building is that it was built over several centuries, so it combines several different styles. In addition to the unique architecture, the monastery is famous for its museum, which is located directly inside the building. The monastery is open to visitors from 9 to 17 hours each day.

The monastery is located near the center, so it will be easy to find it.
