Description:
Dubrovnik Airport is one of the eight international airports in Croatia. It is located 15 kilometers from the city center.
The airport is located near the small village of Chilipi, so it is also known as Chilipi Airport.
Dubrovnik Airport is the second largest airport in Croatia by number of passengers.
During the war in Yugoslavia, in the early nineties of the last century, Dubrovnik airport was closed. In 2000, it reopened.
Currently, a project to expand the airport is being implemented: a new terminal is being built, it is planned to expand the commercial zone and build a large four-star hotel near the airport.
