Sambo Prey Cook Temples

Sambor Prei Kuk is the most impressive group of temples, which includes more than 200 buildings of the pre-Angkor period. These temples are built in a forest about 40 kilomaters north of Kampong Tom. Kampong Thom is a city located in central Cambodia.

In Sambo Prei Cook temples are made of clay bricks. They were built during the reign of King Isanavarman when he successfully merged the Chenia Kork territory and the Khmer waters of Chenia Toek.
