Jose Cuervo factory

Calle Jose Cuervo 73, Tequila, Mexico

Description:

The Jose Cuervo plant is the only facility producing Jose Cuervo tequila.

The plant is located in the city of Tequila, which in turn is the center of the state of Jalisco. More than two hundred years have passed since the former owner of the plant made his first mezcal. Since then, his descendants produce the same drink in the same factory, following the traditions of the family.

Two types of agave are used to make Jose Cuervo tequila, and the maturity of the drink is 6-12 years. The ripening of some varieties occurs in barrels of oak wood. Tequila, produced at the plant, has a strength from thirty-eight to forty degrees.

The plant includes rooms for ripening, distillation, distillation and storage of the drink.
