The head of the Republic of Bashkortostan proposed to introduce COVID passports

Radiy Khabirov, head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on January 18 on his Facebook page announced the decision to issue anticove passports in the region, which will remove epidemiological restrictions, and give their holders a number of preferences, including in the fields of entertainment and tourism.

For example, it is planned that within the framework of the republican loyalty program for local residents, they will be able to receive discounts for accommodation in sanatoriums and other accommodation facilities, for booking tours in Bashkortostan from regional tour operators and excursions around the country. ufe.

There is an opinion that cafes and restaurants will allow holders of such passports without restrictions on occupancy of halls, they will receive benefits when visiting cinemas, theaters, other cultural objects, which will be allowed to fill more than the current 30%, as well as fitness centers, sports events, etc.

The authorities intend to start implementing coronavirus documents from February 5.
They will be able to get those who have antibodies - have had a virus or have been vaccinated. Anticoid passport will be in electronic form, but if necessary, a special QR code can be shown from the phone or printed. Radiy Khabirov stressed that “people will gradually begin to return to normal life, which we all missed,” and wished health.

The initiative of the head of the republic caused mixed responses from the public. Some commentators approved the decision and asked for vaccination and issuance of documents “without queues and other inhibitory factors”.

The majority disagree with this perspective, believe that the government is “criminally in a hurry”, and emphasizes the questionable ethics of anticove passports. “Medical segregation according to the precepts of Tov. Are Goebbels and Dr. Mengele haunted? And then what? Do not take unvaccinated people to work or, perhaps, will you force them to wear patches on clothes? “Are you seriously going to ask for a piece of paper from everyone who comes closer than two meters?”

The head of the Republic of Bashkortostan is not the first person who took the initiative to single out those who received the COVID-19 vaccine from the rest of the unvaccinated citizens. Recently, the Governor of the Sakhalin region Valery Limarenko proposed to issue special badges to vaccinated, which will allow not to wear medical masks in public places and give other preferences, but after a wave of criticism, the authorities refused such an innovation.
