How to spend the New Year holidays? Russians respond
OneTwoTrip conducted a study of 1,360 users and found out how they spent their winter holidays.
80% of respondents believe that it is best to travel. Moreover, for domestic tourism on vacation were 26%, and abroad would like to go 23%. For the rest of the respondents, the direction of the trip does not matter - the main thing is not to sit at home.
It turned out that at the beginning of this year, not everyone managed to rest – 26.5% admitted that they had urgent chores and worries. The majority (40%) worked or studied at the holidays, and a third were engaged in housework: cooking, cleaning, receiving guests. The disease did not allow 15% of tourists to rest, the rest said other reasons.
“These holidays were worse than in previous years,” said 40% of Russians. Almost as many people didn’t notice the difference, the others had a better time than ever.
The main reason why the quality of rest has deteriorated is the restrictions due to COVID-19. They were noted by 54% of respondents. 16% of Russians complained about the lack of travel, 11% of respondents had to work, 9% of users admitted that they suffered from boredom, the same lack of weekends to feel a surge of strength. Others cited diminished financial opportunities or illness.
For the next New Year holidays, most Russians did not make plans. 29% intend to travel, 8% will spend holidays at home or away.
