What are the penalties for violating the rules of return from abroad?

The press service of Rospotrebnadzor reports that Russian tourists may be fined for failing to provide the results of testing for coronavirus on the portal of State Services.

All Russians who returned from abroad are required to pass a PCR test and post the results on the State Services portal in order to ensure sanitary and quarantine control. The information is transmitted to the department of Rospotrebnadzor in the region where the passenger is expected to arrive. An administrative penalty may be imposed on persons who, for any reason, failed to transmit the results of the study.”

The rule applies to citizens who arrived on regular flights and charter flights. It is necessary to pass the test within three days after arrival in Russia. If the requirement of the department was violated, a citizen can be fined from 15 to 40 thousand rubles.

On public services it is necessary to place the results of testing adult citizens and children: the parent fills in the questionnaire information about minor children and attaches a scan of the document with the test results.

From August 1, Russia opened flights with Turkey: flights to Istanbul and Ankara were resumed, from August 10 – to the resorts of Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, where charter flights flew. In the first week after the opening of flights to Turkey arrived more than 110 thousand Russians.
