Kamchatka: it is planned to open four all-season resorts
Four all-season resorts will be created in Kamchatka until 2035 thanks to the developed master plan of the tourist macroregion "Far East".
Head of the project office of Progorod LLC Ksenia Titova: "With the government of the region and municipalities, issues have been worked out on land plots on which it is planned to place four all-season resorts: the Zelenovskie Lakes shopping mall, the Malki village, areas near the village of Kozyrevsk and the village of Milkovo."
The territories were selected taking into account the thermal and balneological resources of the region and the need to form a uniform framework of tourist infrastructure outside the regional center.
Now men come to Kamchatka as tourists, they are especially interested in active tourism, hunting and fishing.
The average duration of stay of tourists in the Kamchatka Territory in summer is 8-12 days, in winter 7-8 days. On average, the cost of travel per tourist is 105 thousand rubles, of which 30% falls on transportation costs. 87% of tourists travel to the Kamchatka Territory without children.
A promising type of tourism of the Far East and the Kamchatka Territory is health-improving.
The Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov confirmed that now Kamchatka is mainly visited by single tourists or travelers without children.
Kamchatka has developed extreme sports and scientific and educational tourism, for us it is really important. Now we are visited mainly by single tourists or without children, if families begin to come to us, we will immediately increase the tourist flow by half.
The resorts will open in turn, by 2025, 2030 and 2035. Each place will be equipped with a helicopter pad and all-season infrastructure. Resorts will be focused on different segments of demand (from budget accommodation in hostels and campsites to individual chalets and 5* hotels).
