In the summer of 2021, Russians are waiting for new charter programs
Rosturizm is working on organizing charter programs in 12 points of attraction in Russia in the summer of 2021.
Such plans were told by the head of the Department of State Tourism Projects and Tourism Safety of Rostourism Elena Lysenkova.
We very much hope that the 2021 season will be different, this is a reboot of the entire industry. Although the topic of travel safety remains in the first place for tourists and tour operators. This season we urge everyone to start earlier, in this direction work is underway with the subjects of the Russian Federation.
Lysenkova recalled that in 2020, tour operators together with Rosturizm for the first time offered charter programs to Russian regions.
“There were charters to Baikal, which continued in winter. There were a few other areas we tested. Charters allow you to offer a tourist ready-made tourist product at a guaranteed and, as a rule, low price, these offers are in demand among residents of the country. We <...> are working on 12 points of attraction from various regions of the country, which will be based on charter flights <...> Stavropol, the Caucasus Range, the middle strip and the foothills of the Urals ....
Lysenkova added that Rosturizm is working on providing budget subsidies for all tour operators that participate in the formation of charter programs.
According to her, for the success of new charter programs and active sales, the state needs to support tour operators so that tourists receive favorable prices. Lysenkova added that subsidies will be allocated primarily for non-beach destinations.
“We see in beach destinations the potential for expanding the wings of the season – early spring, late autumn, winter.” But if we talk about the main summer period, these are not primarily beach destinations.
Tour operators with the support of Rostourism in the summer of 2021 for the first time delivered tourist flight programs to some Russian regions, including Buryatia, Altai, Kaliningrad region, Khakassia.
