May holidays: where are Russians going?
Tourists are 20% more likely to book hotels and apartments in Russia for the May holidays than in 2022.
Specialists of the booking service analyzed the activity of tourists for the period from April 29 to May 10 and found out the leaders of demand.
The most popular regions in terms of bookings - St. PetersburgKrasnodar Krai, Moscow, Kaliningrad region. Tatarstan. Nizhny Novgorod region. Yaroslavl regionStavropol region, Dagestan and Moscow region.
The highest growth rate compared to last year showed Murmansk region (2.5 times), Altai Republic (2.3 times) and Kaliningrad Region (twice).
For holidays, tourists often choose three-star hotels - they account for 22% of requests, for "four" - 13%, the same - for hotels without stars.
Who do tourists go to rest with? On tourist trips for the May holidays, Russians go together (53% of bookings) or with children (23%). Only 14% of travelers travel alone, three and four – 5%.
