Travel in the era of pandemic: the airline gives tourists a “mysterious” vacation

New Zealand It promptly took measures to control and prevent the coronavirus, and travel within the country was allowed in June. Air New Zealand has found a way to lure travelers by giving the flight a sense of mystery.

Demand for air travel has not fully recovered, and to stir up the situation, the airline launched a package of “mysterious holidays” – passengers do not know where they are going.

The package includes: a domestic round trip to any of the carrier's 20 destinations in New Zealand, including Auckland, Gisborne, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Wellington on North Island or Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Queenstown and Timara on the South Island, and accommodation at one of the Accor hotels.

Travelers can expect one of three levels of service.

The first is $599 per person for two nights. It includes accommodation in the hotel 3-4 stars with breakfast, transfer from the airport.

Deluxe level - $699 per person - two nights in 4 or 4+ hotels, breakfast, car rental.

The third is $1,629 per person for two nights at Hotel 5, breakfast and dinner, a business class car rental.

Booking conditions are flexible - you do not need to pay extra for changing the cost of a trip until the end of March 2021, it is allowed to remove one city from the list where you do not want to fly.

Air New Zealand hopes the proposals will restore interest in domestic travel.
