Rosturizm will develop “tourist magnets” in travel around the country

The Federal Agency for Tourism (Rosturizm) proposes to support entrepreneurial initiatives aimed at the development of cultural and educational routes in small settlements.

Elena Lysenkova, Head of the Department of State Tourism Projects and Tourism Security, stressed that support measures to stimulate domestic tourism begin with the development of separate routes and points of attraction for the creation (including for foreign guests) of “tourist magnets”, which would be interesting to come to when traveling in Russia.

" We pay special attention to the development of national brand routes and points of attraction.

According to E. Lysenkova, Rostourism insists on supporting the initiatives of entrepreneurs, which will be aimed at "increasing the interregional tourism potential and intra-subject cultural and educational routes through the development of villages, villages and towns to create points of attraction with a developed tourist infrastructure."

The representative of the department is sure that the points of attraction will be the villages and small cities that have an outstanding historical, cultural, architectural, natural heritage.

Such a measure should "... contribute to the preservation and improvement of the use of the unique heritage of the sites themselves, the development of cultural and educational tourism, the involvement of local residents for activities in such spaces."
