Seasonal trains to Crimea left a month earlier
The company "Grand Service Express" in 2023 a month earlier than in previous years, launched most of the seasonal trains to the Crimea.
The trains went along the routes. St. Petersburg – Evpatoria, Murmansk – Sevastopol, Volgograd – Simferopol.
For the first time this year and also before the May holidays, trains were appointed: Rostov-on-Don – Simferopol, Ufa – Simferopol, Chelyabinsk – Sevastopol.
Previously, these stations for Tavria trains were intermediate.
Decisions to optimize routes were made on the basis of analysis of passenger traffic and for the convenience of travelers.
From Moscow Two additional trains from the Paveletsky railway station are scheduled for the May holidays in Simferopol (they will run all summer).
From April 28 to May 9, 2023, about 200 thousand passengers will be transported by Tavria trains to and from Crimea (twice more than in the same period of 2022).
In different cities of the Crimean peninsula (Simferopol. sevastopol. evpatoria) 8 to 11 trains will arrive daily for the May holidays (there were 5-6 trains in 2022). The most popular landing and landing stations are traditional: Simferopol, Sevastopol, Vladislavovka, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Moscow.
For the holiday season of 2023 in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol appointed 19 trains (6 trains from Moscow, 2 from St. Petersburg (both daily) and 11 from the regions.
The number of wagons in the summer increases approximately twice (almost 900). To service passengers, the company attracts additional employees.
