How many Russians will participate in the second cashback program for tours in Russia?
The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTSIOM) conducted a survey among Russians to find out the number of our compatriots who are again going to participate in the cashback program for tours around Russia.
70% of Russians have heard about the refund program when buying tours in Russia, 42% want to use this opportunity in the future.
51% of respondents said that they heard something, without details, 19% were well informed, 30% were the first to hear about the possibility of receiving a refund for a trip to Russia.
The desire to take part in the program of payments for tours in Russia was expressed by 42% of respondents, 55% were not interested, 4% were unable to answer.
Among those who do not want to take part in the cashback program, the majority (17%) cited a lack of funds for it, 11% said they do not like to travel, 10% did not plan a trip and 10% - the tour is not interesting.
7% of respondents do not want to travel under this program for fear of contracting the coronavirus, 6% do not have time, 5% said that there is no opportunity for other reasons, 5% do not have vacations, the same number of respondents noted that they vacation only abroad. Health does not allow to travel 4% of respondents.
The Russian government has allocated 15 billion rubles for a program to support domestic tourism, which was affected by the coronavirus pandemic. In the first stage of the sale of tours on August 21-28, 70 thousand tourists took part, who purchased tours worth 1.4 billion rubles.
The remaining funds will be used in the second phase, which starts in October and will last 1.5 months. Conditions of participation in the program will be relaxed.
