How many Russians will take a vacation for the May holidays?

Experts of the tourism industry report that every fifth Russian plans to take a vacation for the May holidays to extend their vacation or go on a trip.

Where will the Russians spend the holidays?

• 46% plan to rest at home for the May holidays.
• 33% will go to the country or out of the city.
• 17% will travel to Russia (last year 12%).
• 3% of Russians intend to go abroad. Most often they choose Turkey, Egypt, UAE, Thailand and Belarus.
• 12% of Russians are going to work during the May holidays.

Moscow and St. Petersburg 25% of respondents are expected to attend. The top 5 cities are also included Kazan. Nizhny Novgorod and Sochi.

• 49% of those who are going on a trip to Russia or abroad, will go to rest with the whole family.
• 24% will spend the holidays together with a partner
• 17% - with friends or interest groups.
• 10% will go with a family without children.
