On September 24, Mayor Alexei Kopaygorodsky during a press conference at the forum of modern journalism "All Russia - 2020" said: "According to the forecast, we see that the total occupancy of Krasnaya Polyana hotels for the New Year holidays is already 52%, and a number of hotels are fixed occupancy above 95%. This suggests that today the rate of bookings for the winter season is about three times higher than last September.”
At the end of December, the city operational headquarters will work in Krasnaya Polyana, it will include representatives of the city administration and the power unit, heads of utilities.
Its main task is the cooperation of services that ensure safety, proper sanitary condition of the territories of the winter resort cluster, the work of public transport and communal infrastructure.
The duty headquarters will constantly monitor the implementation of the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, including at enterprises of trade and catering.
The mayor notes that since the beginning of 2020 in Sochi managed to rest more than 4 million tourists.
