Sverdlovsk region: new tourist routes opened
The Ural Institute of Management, a branch of RANEPA, reports that new routes for travelers are open in the southeast of the Sverdlovsk region.
We are talking about three cycling ring trails with a total length of about 300 km, united in the project "Kamenskaya Trail", which a group of local high school students developed during June-August 2022 under the guidance of teachers and experts of the university.
Routes include local attractions, including the Revun Threshold and the Smolin Cave. The route passage time is from 5 to 7 days. Travelers will also be able to sample local farm products.
The turnover from tourist services on these routes in 2023 will exceed 6 million rubles, and the number of travelers - more than 10 thousand people.
The routes will be fully operational in the spring - they were tested in test mode by schoolchildren who developed them as part of the Priority 2030 program of the strategic project "Academy of the Future - for the Future of Russia".
The Sverdlovsk region received a federal grant of more than 330 million rubles for the development of domestic tourism. The money will go to the appropriate infrastructure.
