About the company:

On one of the oldest streets in the center of Moscow, Bolshaya Nikitskaya, between the Conservatory and the Mayakovsky Theatre, there is a cafe "RECEPTOR". "RECEPTOR" is distinguished by its hand-made design and a truly homely cosiness. Each thing is accompanied by the warmth of the good hands of the owners and it is felt: lamps, tables, walls, a bar, a forged tree in the toilet, a giant keyhole at the entrance, a painted mirror - all this is handmade. Every human being is an open, loving and loving person. Here you can play board games, watch movies, listen to the piano, read interesting books, dance, enjoy masterpieces of Korean, Russian, Italian, Japanese cuisine. In the cafe RECPTOR everything is honest, here fundamentally do not use artificial preservatives, flavor enhancers, dyes and microwaves. All dishes are given to guests “under the knife”: pies immediately from the oven, sushi and rolls just prepared specifically for each guest, al pub (a special dish from the chef) hisses in a cast-iron pot, not long waiting for his turn. The recipe does not cook or eat meat. And not considering the fact that the owners are vegetarians with many years of experience, there are fish positions on the menu. This small deal with conscience allows the Receptor to exist, vegetarians enjoy delicious dishes without animal products, and ordinary people are pleasantly surprised that an evening without meat can be very pleasant and tasty. The menu is formed in such a way that people do not notice the absence of meat after visiting the receptor many times. Vegetarianism in the recipe is not advertised. “Do not understand,” the owners believe, “it is better to let vegetarians be pleasantly surprised, and “meat eaters” taste receptor goodies.” All vegetable soups are truly vegetable, without fish or meat broths. In desserts, agar-agar is used instead of gelatin. On Tuesdays there are good movies in the first room. On Fridays and Saturdays, live music and a heady disco with good intentions.
