How will our tour take place:

At 11:30 a.m. on a comfortable bus, accompanied by an excursion story, we depart from the pilgrimage. Nakhimova on an exciting journey.

Cape Fiolent is one of the fabulous places of Crimea! It was formed more than 160 million years ago after a powerful volcanic eruption. Frozen lava flows are visible there to this day. Their bizarre forms make the landscape of the area a truly rare, natural phenomenon. A huge number of caves and grottoes, clean water, fresh sea air make it an indisputably unique place on the planet.

The main attraction of Cape Fiolent is St. George Monastery, built in 891 by the Greeks.

The road to the monastery passes through Georgievsky Park and your view from the observation platforms will open magnificent views of the rock of the Holy Phenomenon, the rocks "Pilat" and "Orest", the monument to A.S. Pushkin, the famous Yashme Beach.

Still on the coast you can find jasper, carnelian, chalcedony. But with the descent to the sea, it will be another excursion, and we in an hour and a half by bus go to the shore of Balaklava Bay.

Balaklava is a small town 15 km from Sevastopol, on the shore of a unique, picturesque bay.

The deep, narrow, winding bay of Balaklava has been inhabited since the time of ancient Homer. The historical part of the city has preserved the medieval flavor: curved, narrow streets rise into the mountains, and above them rise the ruins of the fortress of Chembalo, built in the 15th century by the Genoese. The remaining two towers will be seen from the observation deck.

The special charm of the town is given by the beautiful Embankment and many boats and yaliks moored to the piers.

At any time of the year, you can see fishermen here, and try local fish dishes in restaurants.

Walking along Balaklava, we will visit the Temple of the 12 Apostles, a historical monument of the 18th century.

The grand structure, preserved in Balaklava since the Cold War, is an underground submarine repair plant. We invite you to an interesting and exciting tour of this unique building.

Anyone who has previously visited the Submarine Museum or does not want to visit it can take a pleasure boat to the open sea and admire the stunning views of the Genoese fortress, the secret factory and Balaklava Bay. (45 min)

End of the tour and return to p. Nakhimova approximately 5 hours after the start of the tour.
