Gastronomy map of Russia: gravitational winery and snail farm Chateau Pinot, Novorossiysk

What Russian doesn't like snails? Only a lazy man who has never been to Novorossiysk Chateau Pino!

Previously, this wonderful place was called not so poetically, rather banal: agro-firm "Myshako". But later overgrown with the entourage of mystery: a gravitational winery, an eco-farm, an agro-tourist complex, a country restaurant of the agglomeration of Novorossiysk.

The fashionable winery is located on the picturesque slopes of the Witch Mountain in the southern part of Novorossiysk. Getting there is easy! In the area of the bus station, you need to sit on a minibus in the direction of Fedotovka and drive along the highway to the exit from the city, where you can not fail to notice this cozy institution located on a hill.

From above there is a beautiful view of the mountains, the sea and ships. The summer terrace of the institution, places to which you need to book in advance, allows you to consider the natural landscape of the Tsemes Bay in detail, honed by the magnificent brush of the master of nature and breathe plenty of clean sea iodized air and a light breeze, which is brought to the highlands directly from the sea.

The place is remembered not only for magnificent landscapes, but also for wine.

The name is new, but the wine is old and well-known. Modern wineries and wine barrels in them, rushing down stairs, this is the principle of gravity. Before the start of bookmarking, no more than an hour passes from the moment of harvesting, which guarantees a high level of the drink produced. The winery has a production capacity of 1,500,000 bottles per year, but in reality about 500,000 bottles are produced. The reason: lack of own grapes for winemaking processes.

Wine is made from more than 20 grape varieties. The main for winemaking is the pinot noir variety. Quite a complex variety of grapes, susceptible to rot, fungi, mold, temperature fluctuations. Right off the vine has a rich, sweet taste.

In 2019, the vineyards of Chateau Pino fell Novorossiysk boron, a strong wind from the sea. The harvest survived, but when harvested, microscopic crystals of sea salt were found on each berry, so the Cabernet Sauvignon Marine collection appeared. In the taste of this wine you can feel the taste of salt and sea freshness, wind.

And -- snails. Because the winery is also a snail farm.

The farm is located in the coolness of the forest, wrapped in grapevine and filled with cute swirling mollusks!

The snail eats watermelon. And before eating, begins to eat rosemary, to give the shade of taste that the cook needs.

They can not be bought in any store, they are grown only for tastings and guests of the restaurant! A set of six snails costs about 400 rubles in the restaurant, they are served in wine, creamy cheese sauce, greens, with the addition of other ingredients. Snails are very tasty, low-fat, tender, not dry in fresh wine. In the store at the winery, you can buy a set of microwave snails with you, the cost is about the same.

Snail caviar and souvenir products are also sold there. A worthy competition to local chefs can only be "Azov snail manufacturer", which can be purchased in some "Tabrises" of Krasnodar for 350 rubles 12 pieces.

Interesting and other gastronomic delights of the restaurant: ice cream from snails for 400 rubles, lemonade from lavender (it serves cookies). Oh, how is that cute?

Snails are served in special plates or disposable boxes with a pleasant design. They eat toothpicks. The remnants of the sauce are drunk or soaked in large amounts of white bread.

Snails are a powerful aphrodisiac, contain a lot of protein, do not contain cholesterol. Snails made an impression, well, what else is needed for happiness?
