Donglaishun

Description:

The founder of the Donglaishun restaurant is a Hue Muslim Ding Deshan. In 1903 he opened a shop selling lamb and broth noodles and buckwheat treats. Since he was doing well, he called his shop “Dunglaishun”, which means “Successful shop in the east of the capital”.

In the 30-40s of the last century, the signature dish "Donglaishunya" - stewed lamb in the "Chinese samovar" was already famous throughout the capital. In the 30s, more than 50 tons of lamb were used annually to make this dish. For decades, chefs have followed strict recipes for meat selection and cooking technology. The dish uses the meat of a young castrated lamb grown in the Silingol aimak of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In addition, the restaurant serves many other Muslim dishes and original snacks.

Later, at "Dunglaishun" workshops for the manufacture of soy seasonings were opened. All the condiments to the dishes in Donglaishun - soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds puree, etc. - all were made in their own workshops at this restaurant. Through the efforts of several generations of chefs, a holistic unique cuisine was created, the dishes of which are very popular.

Restaurant "Donglaishun" is a favorite place to treat dear guests. At one time, Deng Xiaoping, Wang Li and other leaders of the party and state treated foreign guests here.
