Georgia announced the condition for the admission of Russians to the country

The Georgian government announced the start of international flights from February 1, which was interrupted amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Russians who have been vaccinated against coronavirus will be able to start visiting Georgia from February 1. This condition for the admission of foreigners to the country was called by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of the Republic Natia Turnava.

Natia Turnava said that tourists will have to undergo a full course of vaccination, which implies “two doses”, and show a document confirming this when crossing the border, then travelers will not have to go through a 12-day quarantine, which is now considered mandatory for all foreigners.

Citizens from EU countries, Israel, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, UAE will be able to enter Georgia without vaccination, but with a negative test for coronavirus, they will also have to take the test again on the third day of stay in the country.

Earlier in January, it was reported that Russians had a chance to travel to Georgia, inaccessible for free entry due to closed land borders and interrupted air traffic against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic.
