How will Moscow celebrate City Day?

On September 5 and 6, 2020, the capital of the Russian Federation celebrates its 873th birthday.

"The celebration is expected to be calm and 'homey'," the mayor said in mid-August, and confirmed on air to the Rossiya 1 TV channel.

Sergei Sobyanin said that there are no plans to block Tverskaya Street, and there will be no mass festivities.

Festival venues in parks and squares will be open for Muscovites and guests of the capital, but all of them will be chambered, cozy and work in the “light” mode. You can also visit 90 museums and galleries for free.

The general theme of the celebration will be “capital” – “Museums and History”. Moscow?
