Expected favorites of the season - health resorts of Crimea and Krasnodar Krai - most Russians perceive them as beach hotels. Not only “medical tourists” will go there, but also ordinary vacationers. For a classic sanatorium holiday, travelers will go to the resorts of Kavminvod, Altai, the Urals, to Bashkiria.
The depth of sales of tours in the sanatorium on the Black Sea already reaches the middle of summer, experts say. Tourists buy vouchers, including accommodation, food, and treatment programs.
The trend of the season is the growth of interest in regional sanatoriums, which was facilitated by the cashback campaign for trips to Russia and the introduction of anticove restrictions in the regions. Many tourists choose the programs of regional health resorts not for specific medical reasons, but to minimize transportation costs.
Market participants note the increased demand for sanatoriums of categories 4 and 5 stars. This holiday is chosen by those who previously preferred foreign resorts.
There was a reduction in the duration of rest: instead of the usual 21 days, vouchers for 10 days are in demand, weekend tours are in demand.
