What kind of holiday became the most popular in Crimea?
Minister of resorts and tourism of the Crimean Peninsula Vadim Volchenko called auto tourism the most popular type of recreation among travelers of the republic.
Of the 1.4 million tourists, 62.7% came to the peninsula by car and bus, 31.9% by plane, and 5% by rail.
V. Volchenko noted that Crimea was created for road travel: many new roads were built and existing ones were reconstructed: “The trend of recent years is that tourists come and do not sit in one place.”
On August 4, Volchenko said that Russian tourists massively come to the peninsula - in August, the load of hotels reached 90%, but according to him, even with almost full load of hotels and sanatoriums are available for new guests.
The safe launch of domestic tourism in our country took place in early June. The full holiday season in Russia was launched on July 1.
