According to her, Egyptian hotels work with little profit and they manage to cover only the costs of activities. “Russian tourists have always rested in Egyptian hotels at the best prices,” she said in response to a question about possible discounts for Russians.

Hisham al-Dumeiri, the former head of Egypt’s state tourism agency, said the cost of travel could rise slightly due to measures to combat coronavirus infection, as hotels incur additional costs.
