S7 Allows Pet Owners to Bring Pets to the Salon

The airline S7 has allowed its customers to carry pets in the next seats.

“The new service allows larger animals to be taken into the cabin. For example, beagles, cocker spaniels, jack Russells and well-fed cats will now be able to fly more often with their owners, says Svetlana Kulyukina, director of the passenger experience department of S7 Group.

There are several conditions: transported dog, cat, bird must be placed in the container, the size is not more than 55x40x40 cm and be there for the entire flight.

The weight of the pet, taking into account the rigid carry, which is fixed in the chair with special belts, should not be more than 23 kg. The animal can travel on a chair next to the owner and only at the window.

The flight takes place at the current airline rates, and a maximum of two pets can be in the cabin at the same time. Tickets for two seats need to be issued in advance at the contact center or official sales offices of S7 Airlines.

Pet owners have the opportunity when flying to place them in the cabin under the front seat - the size of the hard container should not be more than 20 cm in height, and the dimensions of the bag-carrying - no more than 55x40x25 cm. The pet should not be heavier than 10 kg.
