How many tourists dream of returning to Crimea?
The head of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic Vadim Volchenko said that 96% of tourists who have already been to the resort are ready to return to the Crimean Peninsula.
96% of tourists who rested in Crimea expressed their intention to come to Crimea again, including 50% next year, 46% in the next five years.
The information was obtained in a sociological study conducted by the Ministry during the high tourist season in 2020 on the basis of questionnaires of more than 6 thousand tourists.
50% of tourists are regular guests of the peninsula, 79% of Russians chose to rest in hotels and sanatoriums. The beaches of the Crimea are loved by 42% of holidaymakers, 25% went to be treated, for 19% of guests the reason for coming was cultural and educational tourism.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) called Krasnodar Krai and Crimea the leaders of tour sales following the results of the first week of the second stage of tourist cashback.
The second phase of the program began at midnight on October 15 and will continue until December 5.
