In 2020, Rosturizm will begin to subsidize charters in Russia

Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Zarina Doguzova is confident that state support measures for tour operators that launch charter flights in Russia should be systemic and long-term.

At the international tourism exhibition "Rest 2020" Zarina Doguzova reminded that this year for the first time new charter destinations were launched.

Thanks to this, it became possible to fly inexpensively to Baikal, Kaliningrad, Buryatia, Khakassia and other destinations that were first available in the price-quality ratio.

The head of department specified that the conditions of support for compensation of cost of passenger seats in charters in Russia are ready.

In its final form, this measure has not yet finally worked, but tour operators, realizing that it will, trusted us and launched charter flights to new destinations. This is an example of dialogue and mutual trust between the state and business, Doguzova said.

According to her, the rules for subsidizing charter flights are at the final stage of approval. “This year we will definitely launch this measure. It must be a systematic, long-term strategy”.
