You will learn to use authentic stereoscopes of the XIX century and the era of the USSR. With the help of ancient stereo photos, you will see what the city looked like a hundred years ago. And then take a breathtaking flight over modern Kostroma wearing virtual reality glasses.
Fly between the domes of the ancient Ipatiev Monastery, where the first of the Romanov dynasty went to reign, learn the history of the famous Kostroma shopping arcades, fly over the Kostroma Kremlin, admire the Museum of wooden architecture and the Epiphany-Anastasiain Monastery, look at the “London” in the very center of Kostroma, the Romanov Museum and the city theater, learn who are the Zimogors, and fly over the Milk Mountain, and also admire the fire tower, which Nicholas I envied.
These and other main attractions of Kostroma you will see in a VR-helmet with the effect of full immersion 360°. Without taking off from the ground, you will get an unforgettable feeling of flight!
Then you make a second VR - air travel, and choose the route yourself. For example, go to another city of Russia: Veliky Ustyug, Vladimir, Volgograd, Vologda, Gorokhovets, Yessentuki, Zheleznovodsk, Kazan, Kirzhach, Kislovodsk, Moscow, Murom, Nizhny Novgorod, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Pyatigorsk, Rostov the Great, Samara, St. Petersburg, Suzdal, Cheboksary, Chelyabinsk or Yaroslavl. Or fly through one of the regions: Vladimir-Suzdal land, Dagestan, the Golden Ring of the Caucasus, the Golden Ring of Russia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kamchatka, Karachay-Cherkessia, Chechnya or Elbrus.
As a bonus, you will find a mini-tasting of Kostroma gingerbread with aromatic tea, as well as a surprise!
We recommend you to visit a VR tour on your very first day in Kostroma. Seeing the city from a bird's eye view, you can then more easily navigate in it and choose which attractions are worth visiting.
Start - daily at 13:00.
VR tours are held in mini-groups: no more than 6 people.

- The equipment and program are designed for participants over 10 years of age.
- In the historical part, authentic stereoscopes of the XIX-XX centuries are used.
- The flight over the city takes place in the virtual reality helmets Oculus Quest 3 512Gb + Bobovr S3 Pro.
- Glasses or lenses will not interfere with VR travel.
- The flight will be accompanied by a story guide in headphones.
- At the end of the VR tour, you will find a question and answer session: you will be able to ask any questions about the city and exchange impressions, as well as learn what else you can see in Kostroma.
- No additional costs are expected, mini-tasting and souvenirs are included in the price.
- The tour will be conducted by me or another licensed history guide from our team.

Понравилось ОЧЕНЬ!!! И детям, и взрослым, и очень взрослым. Всем любопытным (и особенно тем, кто по состоянию здоровья или другим причинам уже далеко уйти, а тем более улететь, не может) и просто заскучавшим - однозначно СЮДА!!! Спасибо Николаю и Александру - было здорово!

Потрясающая VR-экскурсия «Полёт над Костромой». Город виден полностью на 360 градусов. Первые минуты нужно привыкнуть, зато потом из виртуального мира и выходить не хочется. Ценность в том, что это не просто увлекательно, но и познавательно. Помимо VR-экскурсии вас ждёт рассказ об истории стереофотографии с уникальными стереопарами и приборами разных десятилетий. Материал подан интересно и живо. Всё можно самостоятельно потрогать и посмотреть.

VR-экскурсия «Полёт над Костромой» – рекомендую!
Это интересно, зрелищно, познавательно. И красиво – увидеть город с высоты птичьего полета, разглядывать его, заглянуть в такие уголки, которые обычно закрыты от посторонних глаз.
Это красиво еще и по самой подаче краеведческого материала – легко, живо, интересно, современно.
А еще это новые знания. Вот все мы помним с детства что такое детский калейдоскоп: кручу-верчу, и цветные стеклышки складываются в яркие причудливые узоры, всегда разные. А кто придумал эту удивительную игрушку? И как это связано со стереоскопами 19 века, которые были в большой моде у наших предков? Какое отношение имеет к этому … Холмс? Что, тот самый? Не будем раскрывать тайну! :) А что это такое - стереофотографии? Кстати, и на стереофотографии, и на стереоскопы, и на другие подлинные вещицы из прошлого вам предложат на этой экскурсии не просто посмотреть, как в музее, а использовать непосредственно по прямому назначению.
Но главное - это возможность «полетать». Для этого достаточно облачиться в VR-шлем с эффектом полного погружения 360°. Сначала, конечно, голова немного кругом от непривычной высоты и необычных ракурсов, но потом испытываешь настоящий кайф от этого парения. И хочется еще и еще кружить над городом )))

Это очень интересно! Спасибо за экскурсию! Необычно и увлекательно! По-моему, интересно будет не только гостям города, но и костромичам. Даже не знаю, что понравилось больше: знакомство со стереоскопами XIX века и эпохи СССР или же сам VR-полёт. Однозначно рекомендую!
