Where in Russia there are clean beaches awarded the Blue Flag award?

The holiday season starts in Russia! It’s time to find out where in our country is the coast, awarded the “blue flag”.

For more than 20 years, the Blue Flag has been awarded to the best beaches in the world for one season of clean waters and improvement, so tenants and beach owners have to constantly confirm their environmental quality.

Russia has been participating in the Blue Flag project since 2017. In 2020, 24 beaches of our country were awarded the blue flag.

The Blue Flag has about 3,500 beaches. The world leaders are Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, France.

In Crimea, the only beach with a blue flag is Massandra Beach in Yalta, it was first awarded in 2017 and has since constantly confirmed its status.
