Which tours in Russia became the most expensive in 2020
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia presented a rating of the most expensive trips in Russia purchased in 2020.
Fifth place was taken by a 12-day tour to the Arctic. The price included accommodation in a standard cabin on a nuclear icebreaker, four meals a day, excursions on the shore, transfers, helicopter flights, etc. The trip cost RUB 2.4 million. This is the most expensive tour per person bought in 2019.
In fourth place is a 21-day holiday in Sochi for two adults and two children (2.6 million RUB) with accommodation in a two-room suite and meals on the “full board” system. Air travel was not included in the price.
The third position is also a trip to Sochi. The grandmother bought a 24-day tour for herself and two grandchildren (3.5 million RUB). The tickets were paid separately.
Second place at a 10-day trip Khabarovsk - Sochi for three Russians (6.6 million RUB). The flight was not included in this amount, from meals - only breakfast.
The winner of 2020 is a week-long tour to Sakhalin (10.1 million RUB). The company of 7 people paid for a vacation, including accommodation in several hotels and on a yacht, sea excursions and a full board with fresh seafood and local cuisine.
