When will the 2021 summer season begin in Turkey?
“We aim to start the 2021 tourist season in April,” said Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

According to the official, the country will leave the “red zone”, when the number of new cases of the disease will not exceed 2,500 per day. With such statistics, European countries can resume or increase air traffic.
The Hoteliers Federation (TUROFED) estimates that the country will be able to host 25 to 30 million international tourists in 2021. The head of the organization, Sururi Chobatyr, is confident that it will take two to three years to reach the level of 2019 (45 million foreigners).
Chairman of the Association of Travel Agencies (TURSAB) Firuz Balykay: “In 2021, Turkey will be able to reach 50 percent of the tourist flow in 2019.”
The main entry markets in 2021 will be Russia, Germany, Ukraine, the Netherlands, the UK.
He noted that vacationers choose small hotels and boutique hotels, natural and adventure tourism, camping are also in demand.
