The volume of sales of tours in Russia with cashback exceeds a billion rubles
The volume of travel in Russia as part of the tourist cashback program exceeded a billion rubles.
The head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova: “...We see that the depth of bookings is very short and averages 10-12 days, as people are guided primarily by the current situation.”
A factor holding back sales of tours is the spread of coronavirus infection.
The head of Rostourism urges tourists to comply with the rules of safety in travel: “For us and for the entire industry, safe travel is the No. 1 priority...” Especially taking into account the situation, together with the industry, we have formed many different proposals for recreation in nature, health, active tours away from a large crowd of people.
The program offers options for traveling near home, including on personal cars.
“Travel safety doesn’t just depend on business, it depends on all of us, so please follow simple precautions when traveling.”
The second stage of sales of tours in Russia with cashback started on October 15 - Russians can get up to 20% refund on the Mir card when booking tours lasting from two nights at tour operators or hotels.
The action will be held until December 5, program participants will be able to travel until January 10 inclusive.
