Russians have shared their plans for summer holidays
Analysts of the service “Yandex.Travel” asked the Russians what they will do in the summer, on vacation.
76% of our compatriots want to go on vacation this summer, among them 14% of respondents would choose June.
There are more people who want to go on vacation in July - 41%, in August - 45%. 65% of respondents dream to visit abroad, 35% – in Russia.
The most popular overseas destinations - Turkey. Spain. Italy. Greece. Cyprus. Thailand. Montenegro. Germany. France. Czech Republic.
Among Russian cities: Sochi, resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, St. PetersburgBaikal, Altai.
32% of those who dream of a foreign vacation are ready to change their decision and plan a holiday at domestic resorts if the borders are not opened in the summer. The remaining 68% of respondents will wait for the borders to open.
63% said that this year they plan to spend a vacation at home or in the country. The main reasons for refusing to travel are: inappropriate epidemiological situation for travel (34%), lack of money (30%), restrictions due to the virus (29%) - for example, the need to wear a mask and gloves, keeping a distance, closed borders.
Also, the respondents remain at home this summer, because: they already live on the sea coast, their health does not allow them to travel, repairs are carried out, there is no one to leave a pet with.
In late May, Russian Prime Minister Mishustin urged Russians not to plan foreign trips in the near future. According to him, it is necessary to exclude the slightest possibility of re-importation of coronavirus infection into our country.
The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that upon returning to Russia from foreign resorts, tourists will have to go through a 14-day quarantine at personal expense.
