How much does an exclusive holiday on the Kamchatka Peninsula cost: prices and dates

Tour operators note that the preferences of tourists in Kamchatka remained the same. Kamchatka has never become a mass destination for a number of reasons, and in 2020 the situation has not changed.

From July 12, tourists were allowed to enter the peninsula without mandatory self-isolation, from August 10 hotels opened, from August 13 - cafes and restaurants.

A. Gromova, Coral Travel, says that because of the closed borders, tourists have not become more interested in Kamchatka – primarily because of the specifics of the direction, which is “sharpened” mainly for outdoor activities.

A seven-day tour without air travel costs from 70-80 thousand rubles per person.

Air transportation to the Kamchatka Territory has become more affordable: Aeroflot has tickets on sale at “flat” fares (from 13,770 rubles with included luggage).

According to ALEAN, the cost of excursion tours to Kamchatka (with a visit to volcanoes, geysers, beaches, islands) in the season starts from 90 thousand rubles per person for 8 days (without a flight).

Additional excursions are paid separately. For example, a helicopter flight to the Valley of Geysers or to a mountain lake where bears catch salmon will cost about 40-45 thousand rubles.

“As before, active excursion tours are very popular,” the tour operator “Russian Express” reports. These are climbing volcanoes, visiting protected areas, trips to geysers, sea excursions to islands in the Pacific Ocean, etc.

In "Musenidis Travel" say that the second place in popularity - rest in hotels with thermal water.

A quiet family holiday in the region is possible in the resort village of Paratunka, but the demand for it among the inhabitants of the “mainland” is not great. On average, a budget hotel in Paratunka (balneo-mud resort) will cost from 7400 rubles per day for a double room.

In "Intourist" note the demand for tourists individual VIP-excursions by helicopter.

Russians can visit Kamchatka in September and October. Until mid-September, 8-day tours to the peninsula (from 68,000 rubles per person without a flight) are available from the tour operator Russian Express.

Until the end of September, you can book tours to Kamchatka at Coral Travel: the program "Edge of the Earth - Kamchatka" (7 days/6 nights) - from 79 thousand rubles per person (without a flight).

Intourist has the last race of the 2020 season in Kamchatka scheduled for October 18 - the Autumn Palette program with accommodation in Paratunka. Tour for two with a direct flight from Moscow costs from 200 thousand rubles.

The Agency for Tourism and External Relations of the Kamchatka Territory reports that the region is actively preparing for autumn and winter: “... we are working on a lot of autumn entertainment for our guests.” This is fishing, and alloys, and cycling, and ethnic programs. In winter, we are waiting for tourists on snowmobile routes, helicopter excursions, dog sled riding.”
