Tourism in St. Petersburg began to revive
The tourist sphere of St. Petersburg is gradually coming to life, but so far, mostly individual and independent tourists go to the city.
This was announced by the Chairman of the Committee on tourism development Sergey Korneev at a meeting of the city government: "Now some revival in tourism is slowly happening." Individual tourists, independent tourists come. But at the end of the year, even taking into account the beginning of the year and the current recovery, we forecast up to 70% of the decline in turnover in the tourism sector.
S. Korneev notes that St. Petersburg is a universal city in terms of tourism, which can accommodate individual tourists, both business and corporate, as well as school and team groups, guests from other countries.
