Major music festivals will be held in Crimea in August and September

On August 11, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, changed the decree on high readiness, and allowed three major festivals to be held in conditions of a ban on mass events.

The document, which is published on the website of the republican government, reports that from August 21 to August 23, 2020, the XVIII international festival Koktebel Jazz Party will be held, August 25 - the festival of youth rap culture and music Rap Koktebel, from September 2 to 6 - the festival of creative communities "Tavrida-ART".

A similar exception was already made in the decree for the Victory Parade in Simferopol and Kerch on June 24.

The ban on mass events does not apply to film screenings and play sports in the open air with the participation of professional athletes and in the presence of no more than 10% of visitors from the capacity of the venues.

On the Crimean peninsula since March 17 due to the threat of coronavirus continues to operate high alert. July 1 opened the holiday season for Russians.
