Master class on pilaf preparation in Samarkand
Description:
There are more than a thousand recipes for cooking Uzbek pilaf with various ingredients, and there are even whole books devoted exclusively to this dish. There are many types of this dish: Tashkent, Fergana, Khorezm, but we will cook Samarkand pilaf. Our master class will be held in an old house, which is located in the Jewish quarter; this quarter was called Mahalla-i Yahudiyon. Traditionally, pilaf among Uzbeks is prepared by men.
This house was built in 1901. Here you will prepare pilaf with the owner of the house Lutfullo. And of course, you will not remain indifferent to the Samarkand pilaf.
