Crimea opens to Russians from July 1, how much will it cost?

The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said that from July 1, guests are allowed to be accommodated in the facilities of the sanatorium and resort complex and hotels as part of intersubject tourism in Crimea. Accommodation facilities and tour operators can sell packages.

From today, all accommodation facilities of the resort sector can sell vouchers from July 1 for citizens of the Russian Federation.

Sergey Aksyonov recalled the need to comply with all security measures and recommendations of the Ministry of Health and Rospotrebnadzor.

From July 1, the activities of hotels, boarding houses, sanatoriums, houses and recreation centers, hotels, campsites, guest houses will be allowed.

From June 15, the self-isolation regime and mandatory observation for those coming to the territory of the Republic are canceled in Crimea. The observation is maintained for citizens entering from other countries.

At the airport of Simferopol, on the Crimean bridge and at railway stations, visitors will continue to measure the temperature and check for external signs of SARS.

From June 15, hotels and sanatoriums of Crimea will be able to accept local residents, but representatives of the tourist market believe that local residents will not provide local hotels with a high level of occupancy. Crimeans make up the minimum share of the total number of guests of sanatoriums and hotels of the peninsula. It is possible that under such conditions, many hotels will not be in a hurry to open.

Sales in the Crimea for many companies and hoteliers opened after the news of the opening of the tourist season from July 1. The first tourists in Crimea will be those who have long bought a tour to the peninsula.

The opening of the Crimea is awaited by those thousands of tourists whose tours were postponed from April-May and early June and those who purchased tours for the summer on early booking promotions. We predict that after the emergence of information about the opening of resorts for residents of other regions, demand will begin to grow. It has already grown on the background of positive news - from Monday to Tuesday evening applications for rest in the Crimea are already more than for the whole of May, the press service of the tour operator Intourist said.

Hoteliers of Crimea are waiting now - the level of demand still needs to be assessed, and no one is talking about pricing yet.

Some objects do not exclude the possibility of price growth in the peak season, but so far tour operators predict prices at the level of 2019.
