The program of return of cashback on tours in Russia will begin from 20 to 21 August

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia D. Chernyshenko said that the program to stimulate domestic tourism in the form of returning cashback to tours in Russia will start on the night of 20 to 21 August and will last a week.

This program starts on the night of 20 to 21 August at 00:00 Moscow time. It will last exactly a week and end at midnight on August 28. The program is designed for both tourists who use the services of tour operators, and those who like to travel independently. We estimate that about 3 million people will participate.”

Tourists who want to participate in the program will be able to receive funds in the amount of 5 thousand to 15 thousand rubles - up to 20% of the cost of the trip. The trip must be made before the end of this year. All regions of Russia participate in the program, trips to several of the most congested destinations in the season will be available on cashback from October 1 to the end of 2020.

From 21 to 28 August, you need to go to the portal world travel.rf, there you can choose a tour or hotel stay for a period of 4 nights and cost from 25 thousand rubles. It remains to pay for the trip with the card "World". More than 700 tour operators and more than 3 thousand hotels are connected to the program, the deputy prime minister said.

The program should be an important step for the development and stimulation of domestic tourism, as travel is always the discovery of something new.

The Russian government allocates 15 billion rubles for a program to stimulate domestic tourism. Within its framework, tourists will receive cashback on tours in Russia in the amount of 5 thousand rubles for a trip cost from 25 to 50 thousand rubles, 10 thousand – from 50 to 75 thousand, 15 thousand – for a trip more than 75 thousand rubles.

Cashback is provided only when using cards of the payment system "MIR" of any bank during payment. You can use the card of relatives, friends, arrange it for yourself. The tour is paid at a time and only online. It is impossible to pay in cash or through a bank terminal in the offices of travel companies or hotels.

The program was developed by Rostourism to stimulate trips of Russians around the country. The head of the department Zarina Doguzova is confident that the program will allow to load hotels and other facilities related to tourist services after the end of the high season. In her opinion, the cashback will want to get tourists who planned a vacation outside the holiday season, including for the autumn school holidays and until December.
