On a walk through the old streets of Kostroma you will hear about the most fascinating pages of its history and how Kostromich live today. Choose one of two routes - and you will see iconic monuments and places of filming, learn about the Masonic secret of the Pushkins, the prophet Abel and the "dissolute village" of the Susanins. And also learn to use the device of the XIX century and get three Kostroma souvenirs.
What awaits you?
This tour is only for your company, so you choose the route - red or blue. On each of them you will get acquainted with the main attractions of Kostroma - Susaninskaya Square, fire tower, the famous Shopping Rows, the monument to Susanin, and at the same time with the ubiquitous hares of grandfather Mazai.
Red Route
You will see the Romanov Museum, the Noble Assembly, the sign at the site of the foundation of Kostroma, monuments to Ostrovsky and the dog Bobka, the sculpture of the Snow Maiden, as well as the places where the film “Black Eyes” was filmed. Look at the Epiphany-Anastasiin Monastery, the Cheese Exchange and the Kostroma Kremlin. You will learn how the cast-iron staircase frightened the noble ladies, what Masonic secret was kept by the descendants of Pushkin, what curse hung over the Kostroma theater and why vodka once flowed instead of water in the city water supply.
Blue Route
You will walk along the Volga and see a monument to a jeweler with a repeatedly stolen ring. You will visit Ostrovsky’s gazebo, as well as where the films “Two Captains” and “Cruel Romance” were filmed. You will learn how two Kostromichs saved two Russian tsars in the XVII and XIX centuries, than the conqueror of the Caucasus, General Yermolov, sinned against the cook of the Kostroma priest and that the mysterious soothsayer Abel prophesied to the emperors. And find out why Alexander Dumas called the place of residence of the descendants of Ivan Susanin “the most dissolute village in Russia” and why Joseph Stalin was elected a deputy of the Kostroma City Council.

Были на индивидуальной экскурсии по Костроме. Понравилось очень! Организация просто прекрасная, сообщения с напоминаниями, встреча с гидом - все четко. Нас не загружали скучными цифрами, при этом мы узнали много исторических фактов, связанных с местами, по которым проходили, все было гармонично, с юмором и необычным квизом с прекрасными милыми призами. Прошли по исторической части города, узнали много интересного, причем как исторических фактов, так и современных. Посетили атмосферные магазинчики на пути, сами бы их точно не нашли. Всем организаторам - спасибо и развиваться дальше!

Замечательная экскурсия! Пересказывать содержание смысла нет. Скажу, что интересный рассказ о городе сопровождался вопросами по теме повествования и дарением разных сувениров. Посетили несколько интересных магазинчиков, где бесплатно продегустировали продукцию местных умельцев. Теперь мы знаем, какими подарочками из Костромы удивить близких и родственников. Были на экскурсиях во многих местах - эта одна из лучших. Рекомендую.

Это была наинтереснейшая, увлекательная экскурсия без зазубренных текстов из учебников и монотонных рассказов с паузами. Все прошло динамично, активно, с постоянным интерактивом.
