Kostroma at 15:15 - an unusual group tour with surprises and tastings
Description:
On a walk through the old streets of Kostroma you will hear about the most fascinating pages of its history and how Kostromich live today. Choose one of two routes - and you will see iconic monuments and places of filming, learn about the Masonic secret of the Pushkins, the prophet Abel and the "dissolute village" of the Susanins. And also learn to use the device of the XIX century and get three Kostroma souvenirs.
Our tour is part of the international tourist project “Tours at 15:15”, which unites more than 100 cities in Europe, Asia and America, so it starts every day at exactly 15:15.
At the request of tourists, additional morning group excursions are added, which begin at 11:15 and take place on New Year's Days: 30-31 December, 2-9 January.
What awaits you?
We offer two daily routes. On each of them you will get acquainted with the main attractions of Kostroma - Susaninskaya Square, fire tower, the famous Shopping Rows, the monument to Susanin, and at the same time with the ubiquitous hares of grandfather Mazai.
Red Route
You will see the Romanov Museum, the Noble Assembly, the sign at the site of the foundation of Kostroma, monuments to Ostrovsky and the dog Bobka, the sculpture of the Snow Maiden, as well as the places where the film “Black Eyes” was filmed. You will look at the ancient Epiphany-Anastasia monastery, the Cheese Exchange and the Kostroma Kremlin. You will learn how the cast-iron staircase frightened the noble ladies, what Masonic secret was kept by the descendants of Pushkin, what curse hung over the Kostroma theater and why vodka once flowed instead of water in the city water supply.
Blue Route
You will walk along the Volga, see a monument to a jeweler with a repeatedly stolen ring. You will visit Ostrovsky’s gazebo, as well as where the films “Two Captains” and “Cruel Romance” were filmed. You will learn how two Kostromichs saved two Russian tsars in the XVII and XIX centuries, than the conqueror of the Caucasus, General Yermolov, sinned against the cook of the Kostroma priest and that the mysterious soothsayer Abel prophesied to the emperors. And find out why Alexander Dumas called the place of residence of the descendants of Ivan Susanin “the most dissolute village in Russia” and why Joseph Stalin was elected a deputy of the Kostroma City Council.

- You can hold authentic old postcards with views of the city and other unusual artifacts from our collection.
- Taste the famous Kostroma cheese and something even more delicious, as well as receive three Kostroma gifts: sweet, salty and money!

- The tour is completely pedestrian, headphones are used for convenience.
- On the way there are convenient stops for rest and photography of attractions.
- At the end of the route you will find a question and answer session: you can ask the guide any questions about Kostroma and exchange impressions.

- In case of bad weather, we offer free raincoats.

Шикарная экскурсия! Обычно к концу прогулки я начинаю зевать, но тут время пролетело незаметно. Экскурсовод Александр - амбассадор города, с хорошими чувством юмора и кладезью небанальных и интересных фактов! Огромный плюс: программа не просто «посмотрите налево - посмотрите направо», нас развлекали викторинами, угощали вкусняшками и даже дали подарки на память. Очень душевно, тепло и весело. Кострома теперь в сердечке

Были с мужем на экскурсии по Костроме с Александром! Это было что-то невероятное! Пролетела просто на одном дыхании, хотелось слушать еще и еще! У Александра прекрасная подача материала, потрясающее чувство юмора, а интерактивы и подарочки - это вообще полный восторг! Однозначно рекомендую! Впечатлений море и огромные благодарности!

Верю ли я в чудеса? - спросили меня на этой экскурсии. Конечно, а как иначе назвать то, что произошло со мной в дивном городе Кострома? За сутки у меня отменили предыдущую экскурсию, записалась на 15:15 и здесь оказалась единственной слушательницей, боялась, что тоже отменят - но меня уверили, что экскурсия состоится обязательно. Экскурсия увлекательна и собрала в себе много интересных исторических данных, неожиданных фактов, а также викторину (за ответы давали открыточки с Костромой) и дегустацию! Очень была рада старым открыткам и фотографиям Костромы, было любопытно посмотреть, каким было то или иное здание ранее. Порадовала аудиоаппаратура (хоть в моем случае экскурсия получилась индивидуальной, думаю, группам побольше - это несомненный плюс). Огромное спасибо за подарочки и за такой теплый прием, правда, была окружена заботой и гостеприимством всю дорогу. Эта экскурсия - моя маленькая Костромская сказка в самое сердечко. Обязательно приеду как-нибудь летом на синий маршрут. Желаю вашей компании дальнейшего процветания, всех благ! Кострома mon amour.
