Flights for business purposes almost restored
OneTwoTrip specialists analyzed booking data and found that this year the companies carefully plan future business trips.
Most of the tickets (85%) were purchased on the eve of departure, a maximum of a week before departure. Last year, only 70 percent of corporations did so.
Only 1% of companies purchase travel documents in more than a month. Last year they were five times more.
The depth of sales when buying train tickets has decreased: more than 40% of business tourists buy them two to three days before departure (last year, 15% did so). For half a month, 5% of organizations pay for travel - two and a half times less than a year ago.
Experts report that the volume of flights in business purposes has almost recovered: the share of bookings with departure in October 2020 is 95% of the same period in 2019.
